Anna Lascar

Anna was born and raised in New York. Before joining Halstead, she spent much of the last 25 years living in Paris, France, and working as a lawyer between Europe and New York for large international law firms. She is fluent in French.

In addition to her legal career, Anna formerly worked in Manhattan for one of the leading New York residential real estate development companies, as well a boutique luxury real estate firm, specializing in Manhattan residential sales.

Anna has had particular success in finding clients their ideal home in the price range and neighborhood they target whether on the Upper East Side, the West Village, Chelsea, Flatiron and even Brooklyn. As a former lawyer, her negotiating skills, business background and interpersonal skills transfer well to her role as a broker in this challenging market.

Anna brings a combination of personal concern for her clients needs in finding their ideal home in New York and knowledge of the market and business conditions to optimize the purchase and sale process. In particular, she understands the special interests of those who are new to the New York market seeking to make an investment and acquire a home there.

Anna thrives on the all that New York has to offer (although she has kept a pied-a-terre in Paris), and loves working in the international environment of New York. Anna has a degree in Political Science from Barnard College, a law degree from the Yale Law School and a Masters in International Business Law from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
